Estimated distance: 2.31 miles
Weather: 30°F, partly cloudy
Resources: East Granby Land Trust
Highlights of the trip: nice views
This was a nice little hike with a group from East Granby Land Trust. We started off with around 9 people at the north parking lot of the town-owned East Granby Farms Recreation Area. Once we got into the woods and started climbing, the icy trail became a little treacherous for those without micro-spikes or something similar. Several people had to turn back. The rest of us were able to climb to the peak and look out to the west over the Farmington Valley.
